Hello there,

does anyone know how to run Knytt on Linux (ubuntu)? I would really appreciate any help...

Tank you!

I think Wine is your only option.

While Knytt is open source, its engine, Clickteam Fusion, apparently still doesn't support Linux.

There's something called Chowdren that can convert Clickteam Fusion sources into C++ and make them compatible with platforms like Linux, but it doesn't support anywhere near all extensions, so it may not be able to handle Knytt.

Ok, thank you. I tried it with Wine and it works fluently so far...

You're referring to the Knytt Stories editor, right? If so, my KSJava Editor (https://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=815.0) should work okay on Linux (requires Java 1.5 or later), but it's not widely tested. I also recall someone else having the same problem with the official editor, and they found another workaround, but unfortunately I can't find that thread
