[2D Platformer] N
« on: April 04, 2009, 19:27:37 »
Type: 2D Platformer

Official website: http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n.html

Description:

A flash game in which you play as a stylized stickman-ish ninja, collecting gold and trying to avoid robots, mines and other obstacles in a minimalistic grey world with physics simulation. Your goal in each level is to get to a switch and then to the door within the time limit. The game comes with 500 levels divided in 100 episodes and it gets really very challenging. There is also a level editor and an online database with thousands of user-created maps (NUMA - N User Map Archive).

Download: Chose whichever suits you.

This is a great game. :)

I now also have N+ for my DS.

Only downsite of this game, is that it stores the savegame data inside flash, meaning that if you reformat windows, and you don't backup this (somehow) you'll have to restart from scratch. And thats a big problem considered this game is really hard and you don't just win the levels that easilly :D

Actually, you can back up your save. Just search for "N_v14b_userdata.sol".
It's usually in your application settings folder or somesuch.

Anyways, I really like this game too. I made a ton of levels for it,
but never really bothered uploading them... I might someday :) .

I already said this, I think, but It was among this game's community that I first heard of WaDF. If it wasn't for N, I wouldn't probably be here... :P
