Please note: this game only runs in Google Chrome!

Type:
Online Improvisational Multiplayer Music Making... thing?

Description:
I'll admit, this is less of a game than many others posted in this section of the forum, but it's really a blast and a fantastic way to have fun with strangers. I just discovered it a few days ago and I'm already a massive fan.

Basically, you are thrown together with other people playing the game at the time and try to make music together. Completely mouse-driven, you are given a set of instruments/patches and can play whatever you want. It's all in the pentatonic scale, so it's pretty difficult to sound bad. The real fun comes in responding to the other players, whether it's moving in parallel, creating opposing lines, or throwing back and forth rhythmic ideas. Really, though, it's hard to describe it. Just give it a whirl (all browser-based, but only Google Chrome) and come back in a couple of hours when you're done.

Happy jamming!

This is pretty fun. I was playing with the same 3 people for some time but then they left one by one.

Fun little toy, and now it's possible to make private rooms too. Like this:
